Reviews For Yellow Light

Hey!

I thought this was simply wonderful. I love how the title fits in lines in this, I thought it was beautiful imagery how Susan describes the light coming in through the window and lighting Parvati up. I hadn't thought about this pairing before, I'm a big Lavender/Parvati but I found myself shipping these rare pair together.

So it's nice that it's told throughout Susan's hogwarts years that as the years go by and how their relationship develop alongside Susan's personal struggles eg. her aunt being murdered. and the change in the social environment that happens. I was quite worried that this story wasn't going to have a happy ending and be more bittersweet but I'm glad it had the full on fluffy ending that I craved.

I think my favourite line is  'When he went down Susan thought "That's my girl." I love how proud of Parvati she is and it's just so cute when she says 'my girl' but she also referring to Parvati being totally awesome! So I thought the reoccurring theme about 'yellow light' was amazing, it's so bright and vivid to show their relationship like how Parvati is the light of Susan's life. Just a beautiful little love story.

Hey there!

I’m back for another review for Quodpot Match 3 because this story had no reviews on it yet!

Ah. What a cute pairing! I’d never thought of Parvati and Susan together before. So often it’s Parvati with Lavender. This was a nice change.

I like that Susan is so confident in the fact that she’s attracted to women. It’s not something she questions or struggles with. She just always knows. That’s so refreshing since often in fic people write LGBTQA+ characters as struggling.

I also like that Susan is confident that Parvati will come to her eventually. She doesn’t get jealous or throw a fit. She just sits back and takes it easy until things work out.

I also enjoyed how you started and ended this with yellow light. It was a nice touch and to me seemed to signify good things to come. It’s like the dawning of a new era.

Good job!
