I'm finally here to leave reviews for my challenge. I apologize for the delay!

But oh! This story. The complexity is astounding. I wouldn't believe that Bellatrix had the capacity for tenderness, but as soon as you mentioned her daughter, I was convinced. Having a child has a way of changing you, of altering your priorities, of softening even the hardest hearts. This is so fitting and so beautiful.

I love the idea that Delphi has to be hidden away because she is "royalty," she is the heir to Voldemort's empire, and if the Order discovers that she exists, who knows what will come of her. I like to imagine that the Order would simply take her away and raise her to be good and kind, but the thought of them taking her away from her mother is actually heartbreaking. You have done such a good job making Bellatrix a sympathetic character in this piece. When she discovers that her daughter is unwell and scours book after book to find the remedy--it seriously made my chest ache. Her love for her daughter is overwhelming in all the best ways. And when she held her as her fever broke... Gah. The mama bear instinct is strong.

I shudder to think what will become of this sweet child. I hate to think she will be corrupted, because she seems so sweet. I want Bellatrix to take her far away from Voldemort, but knowing Bellatrix and her attachment to the Dark Lord, that isn't going to happen. I can only hope she will find a way to keep her daughter safe.

Thanks for joining my challenge. This is a fantastic entry!

This is really different. But I’m intrigued.
