RESULTS - The ABC Drabble Challenge

I am so incredibly thrilled to be able to announce the results of the second challenge I've hosted on FFT! It took me six full months to review and then another month of procrastinating on the announcement, and I apologize profusely for the long wait in results. Before we get going, I want to say thank you all so much for your enthusiasm! So, without further ado, let's get down to it!

The Challenge

As a reminder, for the ABC Drabble Challenge, participants had to write 26 drabbles around a central theme of their choosing. This could be an actual theme from the archives (e.g. addiction, forgiveness, marriage, war, etc.) or some other unifying element (e.g. a pairing, a setting, an action—like traveling, etc.). The titles of each drabble had to be words beginning with each letter of the alphabet.

The Entries

I received five outstanding entries for the challenge that were eligible for judging:

As well two partial entries which I'd love to shout out as well:

Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to enter, even if you weren't able to complete all 26 drabbles! You all get beautiful awards for your participation, and I've also reviewed every chapter of your entries (138 reviews in total)!

[participant award to come]

The Results

After much reading and much deliberation (seriously, it was so difficult to decide!), I was able to choose three incredible, amazing, very well-deserving winners! So, the results you've all been waiting so long for! As a reminder, our top three winners receive reviews on stories of their choice, and I've increased those rewards because you all did such an incredible job.
? drum-roll please ?

Honorable mentions, winning review each, are:

? Outrageous Wit by @foxymagemadi ?

Fred and Hermione have been circling each other ever since her first year at Hogwarts. George thinks they're being stupid sometimes, but doesn't say anything, usually, and lets them be their awkward, weird selves.
A collection of drabbles in alphabetical, but not chronological, order.

and

? skiffle by @VaguelyCreativeName ?

A series of snapshots from the lives of two OCs, the brothers Alfred and Joseph (bonus appearances from some other key players in their lives).
The snippets are in alphabetical, but not chronological order!

In third place, winning reviews, is:

[winner award to come]

? tiny kisses by @just.a.willow.tree ?

tiny kisses | a collection of twenty-six abc drabbles

In second place, winning reviews, is:

[winner award to come]

? Reflections on Solitude by @Felpata_Lupin ?

a collection of unrelated drabbles, all somehow connected to the concept of solitude in its many facets

And finally, in first place, winning reviews, is:

[winner award to come]

? A Valediction by @FurmidableRogue ?

Regulus Black lamenting life as a death eater and processing his choice to turn traitor.

Thank you again to all of our amazing entrants! I loved hosting and reading your entries!
