november '21 bulletin
welcome to the november bulletin!
if you're new, welcome to fanfictalk! it's great to have you with us. we're a multi-fandom forum + archive with a strong culture of support for other writers and feedback here, including a story help section, challenges, and reviewing events - so if you're a writer, you've come to the right place. please make sure that you post in the 'welcome to fft' topic +here to say that you've read over the rules and understand them. you can reach out to any +staff member for help if you have any questions at all (we're very friendly and we like helping!), and you may also find our +faqs helpful.
enjoy your stay!
applications for all staff and house newsletter editor positions will be open until november 27. all staff positions require there's no post count/join date limit, and you can apply for as many positions as you like - it's all on one application. a detailed rundown on how site staffing works can be found +here, and you can find the application +here.
if you applied in september or october, you don't need to apply again unless you'd like to apply for additional positions or change your answers - we'll still consider you this month.
nano has begun and therefore cafe nano has been reopened! feel free to stop by and support your fellow writers, or open a novel nest yourself!
november's member of the month has been around for a while. she's incredibly supportive, leaving reviews, posting in other people's writer's journals with interesting questions and a lot of support. in addition - she's also constantly updating her stories on the archives, and giving us insight in her writing process, so please give it up for
november's staffer of the month has been an integral part of our community coordinator team for over a year now. she frequently posts new things to the archives, asks lots of questions in writer's journals, and is a generally kind soul. she has gone over the top for review and gifting and game events, and has some great headcanons for the Weasleys. please give it up for
november's story of the month is
a history of magic by @Mottsnave
When Sarah Fawcett had questions, she would not rest until she got the answers. Of course, some knowledge has a cost. Rated for technical magic discussions.
