okay so i might've already raved about this story to my fellow cadets on the ss voyager and also in the navigation thread but IT'S FUCKING AMAZING AND HILARIOUS AND YOU WILL CACKLE WHILE READING IT I GUARANTEE THAT BECAUSE I DID. IN EACH CHAPTER

no but really.

it's tom riddle who actually does get a job at hogwarts teaching the dark artsdefence against the dark arts and he's constantly reminded how his incredibly cunning plans are getting thwarted by sheer incompetence of people around him (never him! never! he would never admit it.... ) and bureaucracy and also he learns that being a teacher is hard work, you have to actually bother with the children, and there is absolutely no time at all to plan and execute world domination which is a real shame because HE HAD A CUNNING PLAN

so dumbledore hires tom knowing exactly what waits for him as a new teacher at hogwarts with a full schedule and it's really hilarious. probably the funniest story i've read in ages

also somehow tom's students end up liking him because he teaches them illegal stuff and also doesn't deduct house points but prefers death threats he never realises or alternatively he likes conjuring up a thunderstorm so rain makes his students less likely to talk and create havoc. but only temporarily.

there's also minerva mcgonagall who is also a young teacher and who doesn't like tom at first but then because he likes challenging himself he decides he'll make her like him and his attempts at doing that are...you guessed it....awfully funny and amazing a+++ chef's kiss pls read this story it's GREAT
