okay hear me out. LILY AND SCORPIUS’ CHEMISTRY IS INSANE

okay i yelled that but it’s true and very important and i kinda fell in love with this story from the first couple of sentences i read. jacquelin is just fantastic at writing these characters you don’t know anything about but then she slowly peels off their layers and you get to know them, but before that i just feel there is so much history behind a character - and in this particular story this is true for both lily and scorpius.

you’re thrown into this bar where they meet, and even though they know each other, and there’s a certain level of familiarity, it still feels like almost like they’re at the same time familiar and meeting each other for the first time - maybe it’s them seeing each other in a different light but fucking hell does it work for an interesting story!

and goddddddd, the chemistry! the lingering touches! the conversation that’s not even like central but it’s still like…there is so much meaning behind a few words! the looks! it’s spicy in an almost understated way and i loveeee it

there's also some intrigue and mystery in wanting to know what happened to these two characters before we meet them/before they meet and ahhh i'm super excited to continue reading this and find out!
