aaand the results are in 

over the course of the summer, i hosted my fifth challenge on the forums. this time, there were only two requirements: that the main character and/or relationship wasn't straight (falling anywhere on the lgbtqia+ spectrum) and that there was a happy ending. i received three (3) delightful entries, and just because there were only a few to choose from, it didn't make judging any easier. if you need a little pick-me-up, i highly recommend taking a look at these entries because they all gave me warm, fuzzy feels by the end

what i loved about it: i really enjoyed the relationship and the banter between mary and lydia, and their moments on the rooftop and before were very sweet and adorable

what i loved about it: jem does a great job of capturing seamus' character as he grows from being a fourth year and into adulthood. there's plenty of angst in this fic, but it balances very nicely with the fluff and steadiness of his relationship with dean and how it changes over the years

what i loved about it: this drabble was so much fun to read, and i really loved sirius' characterization. and even though this fic is technically a f/m pairing, chiara does a great job with the nods to sirius' character to show that he's definitely not straight
