this is falling, falling in love, by belgian quaffle
Welcome back for another Golden Ink winner spotlight!
Writers are forever finding new, creative ways to tell a story -- through letters, diary entries, or in more modern times text message and social media format. Unexpected narrative styles make for fresh, fun storytelling, like that in this year's winner for Most Creative Story:
this is falling, falling in love (but not actually falling because we don't do that here, al)
(picspam by me!)
Our narrator, Healer Molly Weasley II, brings the story to us via her clinical patient notes. The patient? Her idiot cousin, Al Potter, who broke his arm doing idiot things and now has to attend PT. Molly's resulting narration is a blend of professional observations and secret parenthetical snark. A little potential romance enters the mix when Molly starts seeing a new patient, Piper Kerr, and has to document in an incident report when Al inadvertently walks into a wall because he's too busy checking out Piper.
It's a fun, snappy little read that will have you giggling and rolling your eyes along with Molly. Congratulations @belgian quaffle!
