We’re back to celebrate another Golden Ink Winner

Following The Untamed fandom, pink porcelain reveals the relationship between Jiang Yanli and Jin Zixuan, from their most significant moments to the least significant. With Laura’s writing, you don’t need to be familiar with the fandom at all. All you need to know is that it’s two people, falling in and out of love with each other, and there’s something so relatable and heartbreaking about it. In the opening chapter, we meet Jiang, when she realizes she can’t stay in this relationship anymore and she must decide what to do from there. You can feel her disappointment and the heartbreak radiating off the screen. Laura’s ability to take a simple, calm moment in time and stretch it out onto a beautifully painted canvas is something to truly admire. Everything might seem civil on the outside, but the emotions are bubbling under the surface, waiting for the right moment to explode.

The structure of the story is also unique. It's a non-linear timeline, following those moments of Jiang and Jin in their relationship, the day to day of their lives. Each chapter is named after a different type of tea, and Laura cleverly ties it into each chapter.

I highly recommend checking this story out - you won't be disappointed! (Maybe a little heartbroken, though.)
