What is Camp NaNoWriMo?

What is Camp NaNoWriMo?

Camp NaNoWriMo is a writing activity that takes place throughout the year where writers carve out time to work on their writing projects. It's similar to NaNoWriMo, where you try to reach a certain wordcount, but the best part about camp? It's flexible, and you can fit it in with however it suits your schedule. Set a goal however small or big, and do your best to reach it by the end of the month! 

You can write whatever you want - a new story, a work in progress, your research paper, a thesis... whatever your heart desires. As long as it's written or created during Camp NaNo, it counts.

Do I have to do 50k?

Of course not! The main purpose of camp is to find time to focus on your writing. Aim as big or as small as you please.

Do I have to sign up? 

Of course not! Camp is completely optional, as are all of the activities associated. You can continue to work on your writing at your own pace, or you can cheer others on in novel nests. It's up to you!
