Guest Hogwarts Staff
from pixabay Toward the Clicking Sounds You’re getting even deeper into the forest now, and you’ve tripped across a web. You know enough to know that that’s not a good sign; there are acromantulas in the forest, and from the sounds of the clicking, you’re getting closer. If you’d like to keep going, post your answer to the following question - but take care, because while there are a number of correct answers, the wrong one could land you in hot water. It's the height of the First Wizarding War, and a pureblooded wizard comes into Ollivander's. You know him to be a Muggleborn sympathizer, and while you've heard no rumors about him belonging to the Order of the Phoenix, you know his closest friend from their time together in Ravenclaw was recently murdered for helping members of the Order. He tells you that while he's still very happy with the wand that chose him ten years ago, the general atmosphere makes him concerned for his safety, and he'd like to ensure that he has at least one back-up on hand in case his wand is stolen, broken, or otherwise disabled - and ideally, he'd like two back ups. His original wand, which he has with him, is walnut with a phoenix feather, and you can tell that it's seen battle. What are the wood + core of the first five wands you try, and why?
