The Burnt Ones

 

You casually flip through the blackened, crumbling pages of the book.  They begin to deteriorate in your hands and you stop to smear the dark smudges off your sweaty fingers.  Nervously, you try to lift the book back on the shelf, but as you hold it up, a folded scrap of parchment falls out.  Your fingers pull at the corners and it opens up.  The thin, slanted writing is unmistakable; Albus Dumbledore left this note.
