Congratulations - you’ve found your Charms OWL!

 

This is one of your core exams. This is one of your core OWLs, and you are required to pass it before your final exams end on June 28. If you're ready to start it, you must post in this thread prior to making any of the posts/reviews/stories it requires.

 

Be aware that though you are free to begin this exam at any time, once you sit down your house cannot begin another exam until you’ve completed this one. Keep in mind that the higher your score, the more points you'll earn, and you may find that a higher mark is a prerequisite to moving onto another exam or area.

 

Since Charms is all about adding or altering objects, this exam is all about graphics! But don’t worry - it doesn’t have to blow us away with talent as long as you meet the requirements for the grades, and I’ve provided a link to a free online tool at the end of this exam that you can use. You don’t have to create an account and it’s very user-friendly.

 

To receive an A-Acceptable:

• As a house, create a four-photo collage with photos that you feel represents you as a house. You are encouraged to be creative with your choices in photographs. To alter your picspam, you are required to add a filter of your choice.
  

 

To receive an E-Exceed Expectations:

• As a house, create a four-photo collage with photos that you feel represents you as a house. You’re encouraged to be creative with your choices in photographs.  To alter your picspam and receive an E, you’re required to add a filter and the name of your house as the text.
  

 

To receive an O-Outstanding:

• As a house, create a four-photo collage with photos that you feel represents you as a house.  You’re encouraged to be creative with your choices in photographs. To alter your picspam and receive an O, you’re required to add a filter and a catchphrase to your picspam.  Keep in mind that the catchphrase should be relatively short - just a few words - and also be something that you feel represents your house as a whole.
  

Once you finish the picspam to your liking, please post your image in the thread below using the spoiler tag.

 

Here is the link to pixlr, though if you know another online tool that you’re more comfortable using, feel free to use it - just make sure you post which tool you used when posting in the thread. Remember, photos that show any kind of personal information - faces, fine data location, etc - are strictly prohibited.

Please do not include any indication that requirements for this exam are linked to the house cup outside of your house, either in the posts/reviews/stories themselves or on social media. You only have one chance to submit your exam, so choose what mark you want to aim for carefully. Once you've completed these tasks to your liking, post a reply to this topic including all of the relevant text and links.

 

Should you run into difficulties, you’re free to take a fail - but be aware that you won’t be able to change your mind later, and it may result in other areas of the maze and exams (along with any advantages passing them bestows) becoming permanently inaccessible to you even if you can find them the exams themselves.
