Congratulations - you’ve found your Muggle Studies NEWT! We're pleased that you have such an interest in Muggles - it's far too rare, in this day and age, and for you to continue on to the NEWT level - well. Let's just say that we're impressed.

 

Before taking this exam, you must have achieved the following:

• Pass in your Muggle Studies OWL

Should you take this exam without doing so, your results on it will be voided and your house will lose points.

 

This is one of your elective NEWTs, and taking it is purely optional. If you're ready to start it, you must post in this thread prior to making any of the posts/reviews/stories it requires. Be aware that though you are free to begin this exam at any time, once you sit down your house cannot begin another exam until you’ve completed this one. Keep in mind that the higher your score, the more points you'll earn, and you may find that a higher mark is a prerequisite to moving onto another exam or area.

 

To receive an A-Acceptable:

• As a house, post at least five times in any threads in either the other fandom area or the Great Hall.
  
• As a house, leave three reviews on stories on the archive under non-Harry Potter, including OF.

 

To receive an E-Exceeds Expectations:

• As a house, post at least eight times in any threads in either the other fandom area or the Great Hall.
  
• As a house, create two picspams for any non-Harry Potter fandom and submit them to our tumblr here. (Please include the username(s) of whoever made the given picspam.)

 

To receive an O-Outstanding:

• As a house, post at least eight times in any threads in either the other fandom area or the Great Hall.
  
• As a house, leave three reviews on stories on the archive under non-Harry Potter, including OF.
  
• As a house, create two picspams for any non-Harry Potter fandom and submit them to our tumblr here. (Please include the username(s) of whoever wrote the given sorting.)

 

Once you complete these tasks to your liking, post your links below and (if applicable) submit the picspams to our tumblr. Please do not include any indication that any are for the House Cup.

 

Please do not include any indication that requirements for this exam are linked to the house cup outside of your house, either in the posts/reviews/stories themselves or on social media. You only have one chance to submit your exam, so choose what mark you want to aim for carefully. Once you've completed these tasks to your liking, post a reply to this topic including all of the relevant text and links.

 

Should you run into difficulties, you’re free to take a fail - but be aware that you won’t be able to change your mind later, and it may result in other areas of the maze and exams (along with any advantages passing them bestows) becoming permanently inaccessible to you even if you can find them the exams themselves.
