Pass It Along Challenge 2017 | Alter Guessing

Hey gang! 

Pass It Along has just about come to an end, and while myself and my (gorgeous) owls are tallying results and delivering final (last minute) gifts, here's your chance to take a guess at who spoiled you these past few weeks! But before we get to that, I want to say a very special thank you to MuggleMaybe, ShazaLupin, and clevernotbrilliant for all their hard work in delivering gifts, and also a special thank you to RoxiMalfoy, who helped with some final gifts :wub: You all left some truly wonderful gifts and it was so great to watch.

Here's how it's going to work. Narrow down your guess to three people, and I will tell you whether your gifter is on that list. If they are, take a guess at who it is out of those three. If they aren't, pick another three, but this will be your final chance! Or, you can just straight up guess who you think it might be :) 

Also... You have all been visited by an Anonymous Gift Enthusiast in some form or another during this challenge, and there's an extra prize for whoever correctly guesses their identity first. They could be prefect, staff, or member, and you only get one chance ;) Good luck!

Now I'm 90% sure that the AGE is victoria anne (Bianca = sassy Puff :P)

Winky I think could either be Felpata Lupin, MuggleMaybe, or Stella Blue.

(Either way I love my:hufflepuffcrest: & :slytherincrest:very much! :grouphug:)

I think my gifter "Edward"  was... Kenny! And no matter who it was, THANK YOU so much for the wonderful gifts! I especially LOVE LOVE LOVE the Beyond Repair graphic. It captures Sailing PERFECTLY. :loveshower:

Okay, deductive reasoning has led me to believe that my gifter was either Paula or Plums, based on reviews and the Bellarke picspam. 

Either way, thank you to whoever left me the amazing reviews and beautiful picspam, I go stare at it when I need to smile.  And thank you to Bianca for running this event! :wub:

Oooh, and I think Anonymous Gift Giver was you, Bianca :P

Just my intuition tells me my  gifter is Abbie.  If my guess is wrong, no matter who it was, thank you for making so many graphics and posting many questions on my AP. Among them, my username graphic is my favorite!

 

Speaking of "Anonymous Gift Enthusiast", I guess Alexis or Karen...? Thank you for your kind review on my first OF.

 

I didn't expect Bianca would write one of my favorite ships, Albus and Bellatrix's granddaughter pairing. I really love the story! Thank you so much, Bianca! 

 

And thank you again for organizing everything, awesome prefects!               :hotwartscrest:

So...I feel like I'm supposed to be able to ascertain something about my gift-giver from the varying number of question marks they utilized as their "name" throughout. Sadly for me, their abilities in the mathematical or...riddling (?) arenas far exceed my own. I know Paula and Kristin are science-y - which involves math to be capable in many disciplines later. Branwen is a riddler. But...the review style and questions make me think it may be someone else. As a dark horse...perhaps someone from my own house.

Since everyone else seems to be listing three people, I'm going to embarrass myself equally badly when I'm wrong on all counts and say it's either Abbi (Crimson Quill), Jill (dreamgazer220), or Paula (PaulatheProkaryote).

And because I'm going to really stake myself out - I'm going to say Jill. 

Whoever it was though - you are awesome! I promise to respond to the reviews and questions soon! :)

Ok, so I'm going to guess that Rhaenyra is Unreliable Time Turner, and that Bianca is AGE. :) 

 

I'm not 100% sure if I'm right, but thank you UTT so much!! I'm still squeeing over that graphic, your reviews were super sweet, and the questions were really fun! And AGE, thank you for the lovely review!!

So I was pretty certain based on the name that my giver was Diogenissa/Karen, it all made perfect sense until the last day of the challenge when I received some reviews which meant I changed my mind so I believe my gifter is Laura now...:wub:

I had a lot of fun doing this challenge. It's very rewarding and really helped me focus on something positive this month so thank you B and the owls for running it!

 

In regards to AGE is it the same person that did all of the gifts or is it maybe more than one? Does AGE just have one identity?

Okay, I will take a guess and say that ProudPanther MIGHT be Kristin? :couch:  (I'm most likely completely wrong about that, but she's the only person I could think of...)

I am almost sure Bianca was AGE for me as well...

Also, were the reviews from QB1 part of the challenge, too? o.O

Anyway, thank you so much to everyone who left me gifts, and thank you, B and owls, for organizing/running the event! :wub:

Ugh! I’m feeling like a poor representative for Slytherin because I’m not clever enough to know who my gift-giver was. I wish I could blame this failing on something like a lack of caffeine, but alas, I’m sitting here with a cup of coffee and I’m still clueless. 

Anyhoo … I’m going to guess Anonymous Gift Giver was victoria_anne.

As for The Basilisk, the only clue I have is they seem familiar with my horror-centric Unspeakable fic so maybe … PaulaTheProkaryote, TreacleTart or Diogenissa. 

In any case, I *love* my gifts! Thanks so much!  :thankyou:

:facepalm: Hmm. Well, I suppose I'll find out after my soccer game tonight. Thus continues my proud tradition of utter failure at ID-ing my gifter :P

So I have no idea who my gifter could be and I'm at work until 2am GMT but I'm gonna guess that RoxiMalfoy was AGE.

Going out on a limb here and guessing that TreacleTart is Archer Rose.

I've been puzzling over it nonstop and I'm really not sure! So I'm going to guess either Kaitlin (TreacleTart), Kayla (poppunkpadfoot), or Plums (dirigibleplums).

Ooooops I only just saw this topic as I had no phone service/was driving the entire weekend, so I saw the results thread before seeing there'd been a guessing thread. Oh well xD. I did correctly guess that Bianca was the Anonymous Gift Enthusiast the instant I saw her review :P but Alexis, I don't think I would have guessed you!

Yeah, I wish I could say there was a pattern to it because that'd be really cool, but it was entirely random :P
