Good luck with your projects, Delaney!

What made you think to write about a character related to Vernon and Marge? What is Beatrice like? Was she adopted by a magical family? Do Vernon and Marge know she's a witch?

I don’t know I just it would be interesting to write about a relative of Vernon and Marge that’s magical. Beatrice is your typical witch, she likes Quidditch but not as much she likes history.

The Holloway family is a halfblood family of seven kids (four biological and three adopted) Her dad restores and sells magical artefacts while her mum is a magical photographer. She’s the middle of the brood with two older sisters Andie and Pen and an older brother named Jaime and a younger sister Carol and two younger brothers Mark and Joss (who are also adopted but have decent relationships with their biological families)

Vernon and Marge do know she’s a witch and don’t accept her and she’s doesn’t care about them. I’ll probably write a flashback in a chapter to her seeing them for the, first time when she’s a young adult possibly soon after finishing school.

Hi there!

Just dropping in to wish you well on your projects! You've got a lot going on up there. I have never succeeded with more than one long-term project at a time. Do you have strategies or preferences or a plan for working on mulitple WIPS this month?

To be honest, I don’t have any tips/strategies or a plan. I just wing it.

Hi Delaney! I just wanted to drop by and say that I am always impressed by how you have a new series you're working on. :)

Cadence of Reconnection stood out to me this time around and left me wondering...are you a Beatles fan? And if so, does the music make an appearance in the story? Or is Annabelle trying to distance herself from her father's legacy? Also, I see you're pairing her with George...will there be any "meet the Weasleys," scenes where she meets the rest of the Weasley clan? Whether or not you write that into your story, do you think any other Weasleys would be familiar with who she is and/or starstruck at meeting her at all?

I cannot wait to see what you do with this story this month!

Best of luck to you!

You can say I’m a casual fan of the Beatles like I know their names and their hits for the most part. Paul and George Harrison make a brief appearance so far and so does Heather Mills (who is Paul’s girlfriend at the start but eventual wife.) George Harrison’s son Dhani also makes several appearances as her best friend who is also magical and the rest of the real McCartney siblings have mentions and appearance especially James McCartney who is Annie and Eleanor’s brother who is eleven months older than them.

Linda McCartney gets a few mentions too but she’s already dead in the story.

Annie is thankful she’s a witch and doesn’t have to deal with her dad’sfame but she still loves him dearly.

As for the Weasleys, Molly was a fan of the Beatles as a young girl but kind of forgot about them. Arthur didn’t really know who they are.

George first introduces Annie to them when Annie is his plus one to Bill’s wedding in 1997. He then reintroduces them in April 2000.

Hi Delaney! It's half-time for July NaNo, and I thought I'd pop in and see how you were doing.

What was your initial pull to write about George and Charlie Weasley?

Charlie fascinates me because I feel like he has a lot more blank space that can be left to interpretation. What's your most prominent character trait for Charlie in The Dragon Tamers Muse, and how's that project coming along?

George is my favorite of the twins since he seems like he’s on the quieter side but still mischievous. I like that Charlie is mostly a blank slate.

Charlie is actually a sculptor in ‘The Dragon Tamer’s Muse’. I honestly haven’t worked on it much in favor of Cadence of Reconnection and Lunar Rhapsody.

Hi, Delaney!Your descriptions of your three story projects are intriguing, and I checked your Author Page, hoping to see early chapters of those stories, but I see that they're not posted on this site yet.  You do have a couple of stories on your AP that are marked 'Incomplete,' so I wondered how you make a decision about whether you will or will not post early chapters of stories that you are not yet finished with.

I am particularly attracted to your story about Beatrice Holloway, and I wonder if she has any character traits in common with Vernon and Marge.

Here's hoping you are able to make some good progress on your stories!

I always want to update Playing for Keeps and Treble Clefs and Paint Brushes but I always forget and don’t want to bombard the validators with too many chapters.

I haven’t decided if she shares any character traits with her brother and sister who she barely remembers but she did meet them once when she was just out of school.

I posted the first two chapters of Cadence of Reconnection on AO3 and Fanfiction.net. The first chapter is up on the archive but the rest of the story will be difficult to post because people who are still alive appear in the story ie. Paul McCartney.

New OC

Marigold Wenlock (b. 8.2.73)

Age: 26

Love interest: Charlie

Starts in Spring 1999

I’m already trying to decide what my Nano Projects will be. Definitely Cadence and Lunar but I’m trying to decid the third project.

Choice one:

One of my Neville/OCs, the one about Neville and the descendant of Modesty Barebone named Celeste

Choice 2:

Another Neville/OC

Post Hogwarts. Neville becomes the apprentice of the elusive Elara Thistlebrook and reconnects with his boyhood crush Aria Hawthorne who was a Hufflepuff in his year but was pulled out of Hogwarts after their fourth year for reasons unknown to him at the time.

Third choice

Original Time Travel Novel where the main character travels through time and meets historical women that often overlooked.

More info on my third possible projects

Choice one:

This starts during Goblet after she survives a car crash that killed her muggle parents. She is sent to England and is now the ward of Newt and Tina Scamander. She is sorted into Hufflepuff and starts to have cryptic visions once she starts Hogwarts, that she’s never had before.

Choice 2:

Another Neville/OC

Post Hogwarts starts in 2000. Neville becomes the apprentice of the elusive Herbologist Elara Thistlebrook and reconnects with his boyhood crush Aria Hawthorne who was a Hufflepuff in his year but was pulled out of Hogwarts after their fourth year for reasons unknown to him at the time. Did I mention that Aria is Elara’s granddaughter?

Third choice

Original Time Travel Novel titled The Lost Library of Time where the main female character named Emily Delgado travels through time and meets historical women that often overlooked.
