We are finally updating house cup points for the first time of the 2018-2019 House Cup season! These are points for September, October, and up to November 5th (so everything through the bulletin that was just posted).

Below is the breakdown by house, then by month, and then by category/thing-that-earned-the-points.

And now the breakdown of points earned from November 6 through February 28 (although no houses had more November points after the November 5th points update). The breakdown is by house, then by month, and then by category/thing-that-earned-the-points.

Hey everyone, I got the order wrong when listing the totals above. NOT in the individual break-down sections, just the total at the top. The totals are all right, just jumbled around to the wrong houses because...I don't know why? It was late and matching skills went out the window? : couch:

I am fixinf it now, but I apologize to those late nighters who saw the incorrect/jumbled up totals!

Just curious, but will there be a points breakdown for the Magical Menagerie? 

Also, on the challenge entries, do they not get counted until a challenge is judged? If not, I’m missing an entry for a challenge that has already closed.

The event coordinator(s) for an event are responsible for announcements about events. @abhorsen. knows more about that event than I do; I just reported the total that was provided, so we'll have to wait to see if a coordinator can provide more detailed info. :)

Points for challenges are awarded once a challenge is judged or the judging deadline has passed, because we can't know for sure until then how many points to award or even what the final list of participants is since some hosts wind up accepting late entries.

To answer another question that I have seen on Twitter and in a CR: placement points for challenges are only awarded if there were 4 or more entries. Otherwise, it's just participation points.

Thank you for pointing that out. It appears when that challenge's points were entered two entries were overlooked: yours and @TreacleTart's. I've added both to our point sheet and updated the totals in the post above and our points widget.

If anyone else does notice anything else they think is missing let us know so we can look into it.
