Nitty-gritty posting question: marking a story 'Complete'

Just a question about timing really. Editing a story to change small details such as tags, ratings, adding characters etc, seems to take effect very quickly, but adding chapters in the queue can take a couple of days to go through depending how large the backlog is. Do people mark their stories as 'complete' at the same time as they submit their last chapter? Or do they wait until the chapter has been validated and then change it?

I typically mark mine when I post the last chapter. If you're worried about queue times (I swear we're trying to keep them manageable ) You can always just change the story shell whenever your story is validated though if you prefer!

Thank you! I wasn't sure if there was a standard way everyone does it. Every site is a little different!
