Introduction

Welcome to my Podfic's request page!  I am here and happy to record stories for you!  I will first list out my skills and what I can do for you before laying out some ground rules of what I will and won't do.  So first off, I love reading stories aloud - I have kind of been trained in how to read aloud as a teacher and doing a podfic is not much different aside from there being no children present.  I try to match my tone to the tone of your story and I do try to do voices and will even occasionally get a little lyrical for anything that is a song in your story.  (This does not mean I'll actually sing - I don't have the pipes for that but a little ditty or a lyrical line sure I'll put some credence to it.)  Please note that if you have an all-male or mostly male cast the voices may end up dreadfully similar but I will try my best.  Unique and interesting voices are my favorite to do.  Accents are not my forte but I'm willing to try just know they will be terrible and probably butchered, and the narration will not be done in an accent my American accent is what you will get.

You can hear my work on the Wireless Network, A Cauldron Full of Hot Strong Love presently showcases my voice and lyrical work the most, if you want to get a feel for what I can do.  Also, I can edit audio if more than one person speaks at once.

Details

If it sounds like I'm your girl for the job then you'll want to know what my limitations are beyond my capabilities.  So please keep the below in mind when you are making a request from me.

1. No more than 1 request at a time. (Any posts after the first will be ignored. I will post when slots are open again.)

2. I am happy to do multiple chapters but please only give me one chapter at a time

3. I would like to keep stories below the 5k length.  If you are a bit over we might be able to work something out.  (Particularly if I've recorded multiple chapters of the same story.)

4. I reserve the right to refuse a request if I do not feel I am the right voice for the story. (This is out of respect of you and your story and what I feel my capabilities are)

5.  I'll read just about anything.  If it is heavily smutty I may shy away from as I don't think my voice is suited for it the same is true for heavily male casts or a story told from a male POV.

6. These rules are subject to change so please don't assume you know them if you have requested of me before.

My general turn around time will be about 2 weeks.  I will contact you if I need more time than that due to sickness or a busy life.  If you have not heard from in 2 weeks you are free to nudge me about your recording.

The only story I had recorded before was for Fic Night. Sounds like a cool thing to try. Hm, this should be good. It really only needs one voice so hopefully even though it's about Sirius it shouldn't be all that hard. And it's meant to read a bit on the slower side, so you won't have to think too quickly from part to part, which I know helps when I do DMing for my D&D game compared to when I have to talk faster, so maybe it's the same concept? 

Edit: Also, forgot to mention, I don't know if it's just me but the recording in the link you gave won't play for me. I forgot to add this.

Ack!  I was so excited to do this for you!  It took me a bit longer than anticipated because of a few technical difficulties that I forgot I have to account for.  I have emailed in your story to the Liason's I hope I did your lovely story justice!
