Enora Gray Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 The first prompt I am using is from the weekly prompt! Stay tuned for the drabble. Prompt #1: Rewrite a pre-written scene from the perspective of a minor character. Holding hands as we walked through the town, she had a smile on her face as she listened to me rambling on about being the Sheriff of Mage brook, where I had lived for the last fifty years or so. Mainly to forget the war, the pain, and the kingdom I drank to forget what I had left behind. She patted my arm in understanding as she watched and listened with kind eyes that spoke volumes to me. Every time she looked at me it was like the sun shone on her face warming me up and putting me at ease with her. What I was trying to figure out is what in Odin’s name was she doing talking and standing beside me? Was it just a ploy or did she genuinely care for me? She must have heard my thoughts because as I was thinking to myself, she smiled and stole my breath as she looked me in the eye. For those few moments in time it was just the two of us.
