Title: All The Waves Resounded
Author: @BookDinosaur

Warnings [if applicable]: Consent Issues (Mild/Moderate), Derogatory Language, Hate Speech, Substance Abuse, Violence.
Reason for Nomination: This story is written with such care and consideration that I find myself returning to it more than anything else. It's immediately obvious that you're reading something special and I want everyone to have a chance to come across it.

Title: blood in the water
Author: @belgian quaffle
Link to Story: click++
Warnings [if applicable]: Derogatory Language, Domestic Abuse, Sexual Content, Substance Abuse, Violence
Reason for Nomination: uhm, it's like, totally the fic to get hooked on and not stop reading it??? sarah has created compelling characters in her next gen trio of james, freddy and their friend charlotte - all of them have layers just waiting to be uncovered and all of them are involved in a crime ring, with james as the 'mob boss'. the stakes are high, the story twists very twisty and after you read the chapters posted you'll be anxiously waiting for more (wink wink nudge nudge, sarah)

Title: June Bug
Author: @ReillyJade
Link to Story: here
Warnings [if applicable]: Consent Issues (Mild/Moderate)Derogatory LanguageSexual ContentSubstance Abuse
Reason for Nomination: ReillyJade has written a very heartful, sweet story about a very challenging topic. Her characterization of Louis is amazing as he shifts from this laid-back, enjoying life "kid" to a responsible adult who learns about the wonders of parenthood. Reilly kept me on my toes throughout the story has I tried to predict the decisions that Louis and Tessa would make. In the end, she shows the joys and the regrets of life's hard decisions.
Excerpt: (Warning: This except gives away a bit of the story, but I couldn't resist because it's so good.)

Spoiler

It was the most powerful thing Louis had ever felt. As he gazed down at the sleeping baby, his breathing seemed to stop. His chest grew incredibly tight, yet it didn’t hurt one bit. When he ever-so-gently brushed his hand against her cheek, his eyes began to sting, and he didn’t even bother trying to fight it. She was so beautiful.

Every reason he’d ever had for not wanting to be a father, every doubt he’d ever cast upon himself, was washed away with each tear. In that moment, all he felt was an overwhelming desire to care for the baby girl in his arms. He wanted to make it his personal mission to ensure she was never cold, hungry, or scared. He wanted to spend every day showing her that she was loved… because she was.
