grumpy cat Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Title: reorientingAuthor: @sibilantLink to Story: here+Warnings [if applicable]: consent issues (mild/moderate)Reason for Nomination: shreya's writing is beautiful and what i especially loved about this story is how much emotion and backstory she's managed to pack into a story that's just a little over 2k! the sisterly relationship between padma and parvati is beautiful and it will make you smile while you're reading about it. and even though the story deals with some difficult themes, it's still hopeful and wonderful and nostalgic and just...really amazing. the fact that padma and parvati are twins is obvious in this but shreya writes them perfectly - they're similar, but they're not the same people and it's awesome to see their different personalities shine through.
just.a.willow.tree Posted July 2, 2019 Posted July 2, 2019 Title: Project AzkabanAuthor: @Unwritten CurseLink to Story: hpft (m)Warnings: self-harm, sexual content, suicide, violenceReason for Nomination: Gina's writing is beautiful in general, but she really outdid herself with this story! even though there are only three chapters published so far (I am eagerly awaiting more haha), her trademark descriptions are already established, as well as the most intriguing, suspenseful plot I've read in a long time. the story is written in a way that makes me question every little detail that is mentioned, and I can't help but formulate a million different theories, though I'm sure they are mostly incorrect this is a prison break story, and unique in that it is surrounded by mysterious circumstances and endless questions and forgotten memories, and reading it is such a treat
