Week 4: Debates

After a busy week of drafting up your candidate’s policy positions, the time has come for you to go head-to-head with your opponents! The Ministry of Magic has decided to host debates for the frontrunning candidates, to give you an opportunity to discuss your policies and let the wizarding world see for themselves which candidate they believe will best represent their interests.
 

In your common rooms, you’ll find a post including the three signature policies from the other Houses. In order to properly prepare for these debates, you’ll need to write up a 300-500 word response to each of these signature policies. You do not necessarily have to argue the opposing side of the issue - you’re welcome to build on the existing argument or add your own twist, if that’s how your campaign would prefer to handle it.
 

Deliverables for Week 4 (due by 12 July at 11:59 PM EST - note that this is Friday night, not Thursday):

• 3 policy responses
  • Post these in your ‘House Cup Campaign Deliverables’ thread. Tag @down-in-flames, @grumpy cat, and @something wicked to notify us of completion.
• You will be scored for completion of these three writing pieces. You can earn up to 300 points this week.
