crowsb4bros Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Do you ever start writing a novel with a concrete plan in mind only to discover things about your story you never knew? Does your main character suddenly show an interest in painting or did something happen out of the blue and surprise you? Here's the place to post all of the things your didn't know about your novel.
Guest Tanda Posted November 13, 2019 Posted November 13, 2019 I didn't know I would use the same folk tale which is used in Weathering with You fandom while writing my story.
Predictable Chaos Posted November 16, 2019 Posted November 16, 2019 I didn't know I'd be writing a Next Generation story. I've never touched this era before so I hope I get the characterization right.
northbound24 Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 I didn't know that Hermione's dad was going to be as much of a focal point in the start of my story but I suppose changing his job from his canon one has something to do with it. So in Children of War Hermione's dad is a 50 year old detective sergeant transferring from Oxford to Gloucestershire at Professor McGonagall's suggestion after his direct superior officer was found to be corrupt. This story is set in the Trios first year.
down-in-flames Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 so apparently jily quidditch fic now also has a very strong espionage storyline?? also i think i'm killing off a character now whoops
Rhaenyra Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 I didn't know how long this was going to end up being. I'm at 45k and nowhere near the end. I thought this was going to be closer in length to Fake It (~50k) than my other stories but I guess not!
Guest Noelle Zingarella Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 That I was going to write more than one tête-à-tête between Severus Snape and Molly Weasley. Madness.
