CheekyTorah-Lex Posted October 22, 2019 Posted October 22, 2019 Hey there I am back for Nano again! This is my third Nano and I'm really excited about this one. This will be my official declaration to finish Lost Generation (part 5) and It'll Be Alright (3 chapters), write two more chapters of The Unprofessional Correspondence VIA Inner Office Memo's as well as begin chapter 1 of The Great Boa of Britain inspired by @Rumpelstiltskin’s prompt from Sorcerer's Stone. The Lost Generation Series It all began with the Great Collab of HPFT. Here we get a peek into the lives of Harry, Ginny, Hermione, Ron and George and how these heroes have suffered in the ten years following the end of the war. Queue the drama! There's a new prophecy and a new chosen one, and this chosen one may be able to change everything. **spoiler alert** We left off with part four where the five of them have discovered the existence of Delphini the daughter of Tom Riddle and Bellatrix leStrange. She is quite possibly even creepier and more deranged than both her parents, seemingly without conscience and powers beyond any child (and possibly some adults) they have ever heard of. They may just have to call on an extremely unlikely man for help. It'll Be Alright This is my Wolfstar, Jily, FrankxAlice Fake Dating story. All six characters end up in a fake dating situation of their own Remus fake dating Sirius, James Fake Dating Alice and Lily real dating Frank but not really because she is absolutely furious about James dating Alice. Angst, Drama, and ridiculous fake dating glory! Inspired by @down-in-flames fake dating challenge! The Unprofessional Correspondence VIA Inner Office Memos Yeah, it's a mouthful of a name, but it's completely accurate. The main star is Hermione Granger and The inner office memos going between her, her coworkers, employers, friends, and her new trainee are absolutely unprofessional and hilarious. It all started with a letter from the Witch and Wizard Resources Department within the ministry informing Hermione of her new Trainee. Inspired by @potionspartner‘s Fan NonFiction Challenge The Great Boa of Britain I have a total of 6 chapters planned out and a roughly written (long) drabble to guide me! This starts before Harry ever left for Hogwarts and has a whole lot of time jumps. Accidental magic in front of muggles is usually taken care of correct? Well, what if the ministry couldn’t find that darn snake?
victoria_anne Posted October 25, 2019 Posted October 25, 2019 Hey Lex! So many exciting projects! 1. Do you have a plan of attack? Will you be circulating through the stories or writing whichever you feel inspired for? 2. I've not seen Delphi in many fanfictions. What are you most excited about writing her, and what do you think the challenges are? Good luck with November!
800 words of heaven Posted November 4, 2019 Posted November 4, 2019 Eee! I am so excited about so many projects, here! Let me try to be coherent. 1) Would love to hear how you're planning to cycle through the fics you want get done. I've toyed with the idea for previous NaNos, but have not been successful, I think because of lack of planning, so I would love your approach on this! 2) Ooh! A Cursed Child fic! I'm excited! We need more CC fanfic! 3) Fake dating is the wind beneath my wings, honestly. Can't wait 4) Love the concept for a story told via memores! And if it's meant to be funny, I am so here for it 5) Lol is this the story of the snake from Philosopher's Stone? I hope it's doing well these days...
CheekyTorah-Lex Posted November 14, 2019 Author Posted November 14, 2019 @victoria_anne @800 words of heaven so I ended up scrapping my entire plan here and went for a completely new idea: Triad Pairing, Drarryville story. Word count goal: 18000 words 500-700 words per day! im finished up until part 15, current word count is 9233 and parts 1-8 are posted as Chapter 1 on the Archives though not valid yet, but it is available to read on my Ao3 — my second nano piece I’ve been working on is a Anon piece for the Butterfly Fest. I can’t divulge any info for that but I’ve gotten 14497 words for that completed and I’m in the final drafting stage preparing for a Beta reader to edit it. So my total word count currently is 23730 On 10/25/2019 at 7:00 AM, victoria_anne said: Hey Lex! So many exciting projects! 1. Do you have a plan of attack? My plan of attack with these had been pretty successful thus far, I’ve got a friend beta reading my Drarryville very 3-5 parts. I write them ahead so that I can spend my full days off to write my fest piece without distraction for example working on nov 11-15 on the 9th so that I could spend the 10-12 working solely on my first piece which is due this Friday. (Yay!) 2. Delphini is a very creepy and powerful character in the lost gen, I love her because she’s the first villain character I’ve written that actually gives me the chills and probably because she’s barely 11 years old and capable of terrible things (and maybe has done some terrible things already) Thanks for the Q’s On 11/4/2019 at 4:32 AM, 800 words of heaven said: Eee! It’s kind of a cycle, for the Drarryville that I’ve given myself daily due dates I get a few days ahead so I can give the fest piece my full attention during my days off. I’m about done my fest piece it’s due tomorrow so I might pick up one of these to complete! 2. It’s not really a CC fic, to be honest Delphini is too young and Harry hasn’t had any kids yet. It’s an AU for sure, but it’s not Next Gen it’s more cussing between the rebuilding era and the Next Gen era! 3. Mine too, I was ALL over that challenge and it’s already completely planned out and half the final three chapters are written I just need to actually do it. 4. Yeah my memo story is super fun, I need to get back to that, maybe I’ll complete that in the last two weeks of the month. 5. Yes! The snake from the sorcerers stone, Rumpels posted on Twitter about her curiosity of where that snake got to and what happened. It also is almost done, it’s got maybe 1k left to write? Just need to get back to it really. It doubles as a kind of love story (not really but yes at the same time?) it’ll be interesting it’s guided by snippets from news paper articles! thanks for you Q’s

Where do you get your amazing ideas from? What is one writing challenge you've overcome? Wolfstar or Drarry? 1. It started with a Love for Dramione and the movies were so slow to release this was waaay back when I was like 12? (have I mentioned I only just read all the books) I was reading on HPFF in the dead of night and praying no one would find out my weird love for Fan fiction. Though I pulled away for a long time and came back to it in December mostly with a desire to improve my writing by writing fan fiction not just read it. 2. Sheer dumb luck comes to mind. Prompts help a lot and have inspired my 15k fic. But most often a dream has inspired my more AU or magical stories like pesky Pixies and The Lost Gen. 3. Uhmmmmmmm before I had a hard time with writing things that were over 3K. Now I have completed and in final editing stages of a 15000 word fic. I feel really good about that. 4. Excuse you!? I feel so called out right now. Lol I refuse to choose. They are not pairings I would ever need to choose one over the other anyways, so... nope I refuse to choose. Better yet my answer is both. Always both. Thanks so much for your questions Abby xoxo
CheekyTorah-Lex Posted November 17, 2019 Author Posted November 17, 2019 I’d like to elaborate on the dreams bit: so when I read book one and half of book two when I was a kid, I started getting these really fantastic and super vivid Harry Potter Dreams. Some of them so vivid and so often that I had to stop reading the books because I was like these dreams have to stop. Not all of them were overly appropriate and some dRk and scary. So anyways. That’s a big reason why I stopped with the Harry Potter books. Now that I read fan fiction on the regular I have embraced the wonderful HP dreamsTM and use them as inspiration where I can.
