Reason for Nomination: this is the fic that everyone should be reading. taylor does such a good job crafting this piece, it is everything that you could want at this time of year. she does great job at creating so much chemistry between her characters just through the dialogue/text in this chatfic. all of it is just a reason to smile.

reason for nomination: i laughed out loud while reading this story. i used all caps lock in part of my review and that should tell you something for a story written entirely through a year-long series of bulletin board notes, it manages to tell an entire story. you get attached to the characters posting the boards. you smile while reading about various shenanigans ravenclaws (and, uh, clever gryffindors ) get up to. there's toadopolis!!! it's such an awesome read, i guarantee you'll love it i'm so happy that i read it

reason: the super creative story set in the FWW, where technology has revolted and war is imposed between man and amachine, complete with an action chase between a roomba and Sirius Black... oh yeah, and the hints of wolfstar, to boot.  It might come across a little bias since she wrote this story for me, but Paula is a genius.

Reason for Nomination: This is just the most heart-warming story I've read in a while. In it we see Percy Weasley facing down his teenaged daughter Molly--and receiving his comeuppance. The way that Melanie has written this family, and Percy's inner monologue in particular is honest and touching. I really loved seeing Percy as a Dad--and a pretty darn good one at that. Give it a read--it'll make you feel warm and fuzzy inside!
