Title is very much a W.I.P :couch:

Starting from 1998 this fic spans the missing years between the end of the war and 19 years later. Following the Weasley family (and Harry and Hermione) during that time.

I created this plan in 2017 but never got around to writing it, so I'm dusting it off and going to attempt it for Camp Nano!

It's going to mainly focus on different events that the Weasly family will go through: weddings, funerals, pregnancies and a few unexpected events as well.

I'm aiming for 30k which should hopefully be about half of the overall story!

Hi Shaza!!! this is exciting and it sounds so ambitious ? I have some questions for you if you don't mind :D

1. Will you be telling it in a series of one-shots or more like, an over-arching plot with different snippets? (does that make sense I hope so lolol)
2. Will it have one narrator? Two? Will it just be the entire Weasley-Potter-etc family taking turns?
3. What do you think (if anything) has changed the most about the idea from 2017 when you originally had the idea till now??

I really like stories like these, or what it sounds like it'll be at least, so I hope you can stick with it and get it started because I would love to read it when it's up!

Hey, thank you so much! I was definitely ambitious back in the day but I'm hoping I can bring it to life regardless. :D

1. I think a bit of both. I'm hoping it will flow like a story but each chapter will probably have a one-shot feel depending on if I focus on one 'event' per chapter.

2. The entire family taking turns as I'm hoping this gives me more freedom in what stories i can tell. Although, some people will proabbaly crop up more than others as I find them easier to write, but I do want everyone to get their say.

3. I think the way I was planning on writing it because originally I was just going do a lot of one-shots but now I want it to be more story-like and flow better.

Thank you so much for the questions, I hope I stick with it too!

Shaza!!! It's so exciting that you're writing this, I always love stories that fill in the Rebuilding Era. ? I have some questions for youuu!

1. Which of the Weasley characters do you find (or think you'll find) easiest to write (including Harry and Hermione, since they're basically Weasleys)?

2. What sorts of major plot-point problems do you foresee the Weasleys having? Will you talk about their lost loved ones and such?

3. What tone do you envision this story having? Or do you think it'll change depending on the chapter?

4. Are you an outliner or a winger (is that a term :P)?

A big good luck with your project! I'd love to read it someday!

Hey! Thank you so much for the questions, I'm glad you like this era!

1. Probably Hermione or Ron because I've wrote them the most so I'm more familiar with them. I'm looking forward to trying Charlie though, I think he'll be a lot of fun to write!

2. Oh definitely, especially George and the death of Fred. But also I think Percy coming back into the family might be another problem because I don't see him being accepted in so easily from his siblings, I think Molly will be pleased though.

3. I think overall the tone of the story will go from a bit sad and gloomy to more positive as the chapters and time goes on as I think that feels like how there lives would go. Obviously there'll be some happy times in the earlier parts and vice versa but just as a general rule of thumb.

4. I have no idea but I'm going to use it anyway xD Normally I'm a winger and I suppose I still am because I've not got a plan or outline for this fic but I do have a calander. I basically just created a spreadsheet and each sheet is a different year with all the important dates and events. That's as planned as I go.

Aww , thank you! Hopefully it'll be up soon after!

Shaza!  It's so nice to see you back and writing again

1. You've said this will cover the main events the Weasleys go through, including funerals.  Does that mean it'll start directly after the war?

2. Are there any events covered in this story that you're really excited to write about?

3. Which of the characters do you think will be the biggest challenge to write as narrator?

4. With all the canon weddings and children etc., that's a lot - do you plan on covering all of them in this story, or will you be more selective about which you include?

5. How long do you envisage this story being?

6. Is there a missing moment in this period that you've always wanted to know more about that you're planning to write?

7. What's your NaNo staple to help you write?

8. Do you have any music or playlists you're listening to for inspiration?

Hey Sian! :hug:Aww thank you, I'm excited to be doing it again, feel like it's been forever!

1. Pretty much, it won't be like straight after the book finishes when they're up in the common room, but a day or two after.

2. I've got a particular story line for Ron/Hermione that I'm excited/scared to write about because it's quite sad, but I'm also rellly excited to write George's story after the war. I think it would be so interesting and I'm excited to explore it.

3. Arthur. I just don't think I'm great at capturing a male point of view, especially an older male, and I don't think I've ever wrote something from his point of view, but we'll see how it goes.

4. Nope, the plan is to hit them all! Weddings and births I want to cover them all and then I think I'll be more selective for birthdays, cause that would get repetitive. My current plan is to focus on 'main' birthdays like 21st, 50th... etc.

5. Quite long. So far I want it to span from 1998 to 2026 so I think I'll have to split it up depending on how long each year is.

6. All of it! I love that time time period because the trio are older and discovering life and relationships and everything that comes with adulthood. I think my favourite thing about it is how much happens and all the different life stages.

7. Some good music or a film. I like to have something on in the background while I'm writing.

8. Nothing specific yet but I'm sure when I'll write I'll find some music that fits with the theme.

Thank you for the questions! :D

Hi penpal! Since we're paired up I thought I should come check out your novel nest, and wow! This is a really ambitious project!  ?

I was going to ask some questions but Sian had asked my questions already ? so instead I'll just drop some day-1 encouragement in here!

Day 3 and I'm at 1349 words! A bit behind but I don't mind too much at this point. Don't have to physically go into work for the next 6 days so I can try and play catch up then.

Chapter 1 has started with Harry's 18th Birthday. I'm a bit worried about how they're reacting to everything that's happened and making sure they not moving on too fast but I think it's okay so far!
