BellaLestrange87 Posted July 6, 2020 Posted July 6, 2020 After taking a writing hiatus for far too long, my muse is back and so naturally I'm doing CampJulNo, with a word count goal of 10,000 words, which I may revise upwards as I'm already a fifth of the way there while I was procrastinating actually signing up bc I'm terrible There are a few main projects that I'll be working on this month: 1) Hanging on a Wandtip, a Lily II/OC novel that is a sequel to my earlier novel Seek and Chase. Featuring Aurors, murders, bad guys, and also smut. 2) So Cruel: a Lucy/OC novel (that I have been working on for almost five years and is still only 7k ) featuring Questionable Life Decisions and morally grey characters. 3) challenge entry fics Thanks for visiting my novel nest - any questions or comments are very much welcomed!
starlitcastles Posted July 10, 2020 Posted July 10, 2020 Hello there! It's great that you're swinging back to writing by partaking in Camp NanoWriMo/Jul Nano and that you're doing so with that word count goal and revising a work of your as well--and a fifth of it too which still is good as far as progress goes--but really, that's great! Definitely can relate to using this JulNano to get back into writing as well so hoping that it goes well for you this month! Also your works especially Hanging On A Wandtip and So Cruel are both interesting in spite of not knowing the summary or premise for it! Definitely hoping to read one or the other or both as well! You're also doing challenge fics too so that's good since challenges are often fun to work on especially when you need to write! Hoping that everything goes wonderfully for you and your writing this month too by the way! Here are some questions that I have for you as well since I was curious about your works and NanoWriMo stuff in general: 1. Where did you get the inspiration for Hanging On A Wandtip? 2. What's your favorite thing about writing So Cruel and or a Hanging on A Windtip? Why? 3. Seeing as it's been almost five years of working on So Cruel, what's something you have learned while writing it? 4. Do you have a go to snack for JulNano/Camp Nano? Or if not that, any foods you like to eat or snack during Camp Nano? (i.e. I have to have some type of drink not just coffee to help me with my writing--keeps me not only working but I have something to hydrate me if it's not always caffienated per se but yeah...xD) 5. What color(s) would you describe Lily Luna/Lily and Lucy? If that question doesn't make sense then I should mention that it's from a song called 'What's your color?' by Stella Jang and it's on Youtube if you're ever curious but in a sense, I guess it's like what colors would they be? Doesn't have to be aethetically either if you don't want to be but it's just something in a way that speaks to others about them. I hope that made sense! ;w; All those questions aside, I hope that you're able to reach all of your goals again whether it's towards increasing your word count to getting a story that you've been working on forever completed during this month! Oh, and here's also some encouragement and motivation in case you ever need it: You can do it! You got this!
