challenge details: okay so who doesn't love a bit of emotionally charged melodrama, i basically live for it. the idea is pretty simple, your fic must include a break up. it can be messy on again off again sortof break up, angst filled and tragic, a good riddance sortof break up, they can end up as friends, they can hate each other, break up sex can be a thing or they might get back together at the end. it's up to you. the only thing that matters is that they're breaking up and that i care about what's happening. i gotta know what got them to this point and why this is happening right now, make me invested in the chaos.

rules:

• no pre-written entries, entries may be part of a pre-existing series however i must understand what's happening without reading the existing fics
• all entries must be less than 5k
• entries can be combined with other challenges
• no multiple entries
• please include 'written for the we are never getting back together challenge’ somewhere in your story summary or notes

rewards:

• every entry gets a review
• third place gets an award graphic and a picspam for your entry
• second place gets an award graphic, a picspam for your entry and two additional reviews
