challenge deadline: November 8. 2020

accepted fandom(s): harry potter but i'm open to other fandoms just ask to see if i'm familiar with it

accepted ratings: all the ratings

dhallenge details:

• pick a number between 1 and 38 and i will give you a quote (or set of quotes) from the wonderful show derry girls.
• you are allowed to request 2 numbers if you wish as i highly doubt that 38 people will join this challenge
• entries can be combined with other challenges
• no pre-written stories 
• your entry can be a part of longer piece of work as long as i don't have to read the other chapters of the story in order to enjoy the entry
• please have "the derry girls quote challenge" in your entry
• try to keep the entries under 7k words
• you may enter up to 2 entries if you so wish
• and most importantly: have fun

rewards:

• all entries will receive a review (and i will endeavor to make them long and thought out instead of freaking out over three lines like i usually do)
• third place will receive an award graphic, and three reviews on stories of your choice
• second place will receive an award graphic, five reviews on stories of your choice, and a spotify playlist based on a character or a story of your choice
• first place will receive an award graphic, seven reviews on stories of your choice, and a spotify playlist based on a character or a story of your choice

you can go in any direction you want with this it doesn't have to be funny I'd be interested to see what everyone comes up with

22 - "I think you should be able to compliment a woman's eyebrows without having her eyebrows dragged into it"

 

Names can obviously be changed to fit your stories. Let me know if these work

Question: Do we have to incorporate the quote into the fic? I notice that some of the quotes have character names, so I'm wondering if we should include characters with those names, include the quote without the names, and/or base our fics on the quote.

you are welcome to change the names in the quotes or leave them out completely. you're also welcome to not include it in the story at all and instead write a fic based around a quote if that's what inspires you
