I've almost never felt so floored after reading a story, but this one did it. From the incomparable writing to the stunning characterization to the vivid portrayal of trauma and its resonance...just, please read this. Actually, read everything Cassie has written. But start here. Because this is a story you'll never forget.

Reason for Nomination: Julie's writing is confident and clear, and I really liked what they did with Tonks' character in this story. I thought Meg's reaction to Tonks' coming out was realistic and mostly positive. I loved how brave Tonks was, and how matter of fact their inner monologue was.
