beyond the rain Posted August 27, 2020 Posted August 27, 2020 Challenge Name:The Bookshelf challenge Challenge Deadline: 1st Nov 2020 Accepted Fandom(s):HP & OF Accepted Ratings:any! Challenge Details: Hello, here with an idea stolen (with permission!) from @page thirteen. - the bookshelf challenge. Along with most people on this site, I own many books, and I thought it would be fun to make a challenge out of them! Here’s how it works: In your ‘in’ post (I’m not fussy about whether you’re a maybe or taker, all interest is welcome!) choose a number from 1-300, and then another from 1-30. It doesn’t matter if someone has chosen the same numbers as you, because everyone is going to get something different. I’m going to pick the first book from my bookshelf. The first number will give me the page, and then the second one will give me the line. From there you’ll get a sentence, and that sentence will be your prompt. I’ll give you the book and the author, so you can credit appropriately. I’m happy for you to use any characters/ships in the HP verse, or you could use this as an opportunity to write some original fiction! If the quote I give you doesn’t work, you may change it once! Rules: HP & OF works accepted. One shots only The quote must be included somewhere, whether it be in your title/summary/used as dialogue/author’s note. you can combine this with other challenges! Putting ‘For beyond the rain’s bookshelf challenge’ in your summary is optional, just make sure you credit the author for the quote! Rewards: first place - three reviews & a story graphic Second place - two reviews & a story graphic Third place - one review & a story graphic All entries will be reviewed!
