November Story of the Month Voting

Voting will close on October 26th at 11:59 pm GMT.

Nominees:

Title: Severus Snape and the Midnight Tea
Author: @la_topolina
Link to Story: link (M)
Warnings [if applicable]: slurs
Reason for Nomination: Have you ever wondered how Snape reacted to Luna in his classroom? This story shows his exasperation with the very talented Ravenclaw. The conversation between Snape and Flitwick feels real, with Filius's care for Severus showing. This story shows a redeemable Snape with human qualities and a teacher that's not all the way subsumed in his hatred. His interactions with Luna feel real.

Title: A Valediction
Author: @RogueSlytherin
Link to Story: clicky clicky (M)
Warnings [if applicable]: violence
Reason for Nomination: This story was written for Renacera's ABC drabble challenge, which was a feat in of itself to complete (26 drabbles with chapter titles going a-z)! But not only that, Jacquelin has managed to weave this impossibly bittersweet tale of Regulus and his reasons for leaving the Death Eaters. I might be biased because Regulus' story of turning on Voldemort is one of my favourite 'missing moments' from the books that I like to explore in fics, but everything from Apathy to Zealot (lol get it? A-Z but with chapter titles?) is both melancholic and heartwarming, raw and oh so beautiful. Tens, tens, tens across the board.

Title: The Silver Stag
Author: @shadowycorner
Link to Story: FFT+
Reason for Nomination: This little Halloween story really took me by surprise! Eli explores Harry and Albus' relationship, as well as a little twist on the Resurrection Stone. It's really enjoyable and kept me guessing until the very end about what things meant and how they were going to turn out.
