I am planning on finishing Nano this year (I totally failed last year because my little boy was born 8th November) I just need to get back into the swing of things with writing. My plan for this year is to write the prequel to my 2018 novel, about Theodore Nott, Draco, and Blaise being in a band. A wild plot appeared, it used cliches! It was super effective! When Draco isn't touring with his band, he is a judge on a talent show called Singing sensation (of course his father is in charge of it all - he's basically the simon cowel of the world) along with fellow judges Harry Potter, Gilderoy Lockhart, and unnamed female judge! (I was possibly thinking of Tonks, but still to decide.) Him and Harry have a love/hate relationship (mainly for the views) and flirt up a storm with each other, which the fans eat up and love! Theodore appears during it all a lot to help out Draco, and offer support. As well as to get close to a contestant called Lavender Brown who he has fallen madly in love with. A few fun facts about it all! - Harry's parents are alive and well! They are famous actors/actresses, and are known as the marauders who all mainly work on the same films together. (Think the brat pack/rat pack from years ago) - Harry has an ongoing feud with Tom Riddle, who is the lead singer of a heavy metal band called Voldemort and The Death Eaters. It mainly stays on twitter/instagram/interviews. Tom hates Harry because of his parents, and thinks he needs to take Harry down a peg or two. - Draco gets pulled into it a few times because of his 'flirtation' with Harry. - Tom is really pathetic with his insults. - Theo and Draco write a song about Tom, and during the semi final of Singing Sensation, they perform it onstage to the dismay and anger of Lucius. The song is 'Bitch Lasagna' by Pewdiepie (in my head they wrote the song, the lyrics have just changed to fit Tom Riddle) - Theodore has a drug problem, which comes up a few times. - Gilderoy makes everyone pull their hair out in frustration. Draco and Harry like to make TikToks about Gilderoy. So.... yeah, that's what I have so far! Any questions? Just fire away!

Tell me more about Harry’s and Gilderoy’s musical backgrounds/careers. Are they performers? Producers? What sort of acts? What or who are you most excited to write in this fic? Whose POV will this be narrated from, or is it omniscient? Will it concentrate on any character more than others, or about equal? Draco is in a rock band He plays the guitar, Blaise plays the drums, and Theo is the lead singer. Harry is a solo artist, think along the lines of Ed Sheeran, he was very lucky because he had connections through his family, so found it easy to get into the music industry, but is a very hard worker. Gilderoy.... oh Gilderoy! He was a very big star in the late 80s/90s, hasn't released much since apart from greatest hits, but his songs were huge! Huge party bangers, serenading songs... you name it, he's done it. He has a very big ego. I am very excited to write Gilderoy actually, and everyone interacting with him, I feel like he's going to be the most fun! I have yet to decide the POV, I think it'll mainly be Draco's but will switch to Theo a few times. Thank you so so much for your questions! and for your enthusiasm!
