dreamshadow Posted February 28, 2021 Share Posted February 28, 2021 (edited) challenge name: the angsty taylor swift challenge challenge deadline: 15 june 2021 accepted fandoms(s): harry potter, the 100, original fiction, alternate universes, simon vs the homosapiens agenda (if there's another fandom you're interested in writing, that's probably fine as long as i don't need a lot of canon knowledge to understand the story) accepted ratings: give it all to me pls (yes smut is fine too) challenge details: hey, friends! so if there’s one thing i’ve learned about this community, it’s that a lot of us love taylor swift, and rightfully so. she’s the queen of breakup and angsty songs, and since i love angst, i figured this would be a fun challenge. i want you to take an angsty taylor swift song (sad angsty, angry angsty) and write me a fic based off of it. that's it; that's the challenge it's gonna be judged primarily on how well y'all execute the angst and make me feel things, so have fun! go all out. be dramatic. i want to need tissues or throw things and yell in your reviews if you’re stuck, i’ve got a playlist of 45 angsty taylor swift songs, so you can reply to this with a number and i can give you a song. multiple people can use the same song and you can change it up to three times otherwise, have fun, and please feel free to ask any questions rules: entries must be posted on the fft archives and follow the site guidelines must have “for dreamshadow’s angsty taylor swift challenge” somewhere in the story summary/notes no pre-writtens allowed, but can be new content for an existing universe or story as long as it stands on its own can be combined with other challenges multichapter fics should have two chapters up (or in the queue) by the new extended deadline multiple entries welcome prizes*: all entries will receive 1 review 3rd place will receive an award graphic and 2 reviews on stories of your choosing 2nd place will receive an award graphic and 4 reviews on stories of your choosing 1st place will receive an award graphic, 6 reviews on stories of your choosing, and a picspam inspired by your story *depending on how many entries there are, there might be room for some honorable mentions who will receive 1 additional review on a story of their choice happy writing 💖 Edited April 8, 2021 by dreamshadow 1 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
