onyx theatre

this is the onyx theatre.

being labelled as the "onyx: theatre one would expect it to be themed in black and white, but the seats are all brightly colored. it' snot until the film begins playing that you understand -- the "onyx" comes from the wall color and the black and white films frequently shown here on older film reels and a projector. perhaps there's something to this dive into classic film media and old techniques!
