Reason for Nomination [optional]: Although this story has been nominated recently, it ran into some tough sledding and didn't win.  I like the way Lavender is represented as an actual human person and not the usual cartoon, and I thought that warranted reconsideration - plus, it's just a good story.

Reason for Nomination: This is one of my all time favorite stories on the site and since Meg finished it just a few weeks ago, I'd like to give it a final hooray for all her hard work in creating such a masterpiece.

Meg does an amazing job building angst for her characters. You are rooting for Hermione and Severus the entire way because she just makes you love them, even the ever snarky Severus Snape.
