Hi again, here for another review for the galazy!
Aw, I love how this one starts. I also love your attention to detail with animals just throughout the series. I can imagine the whole group of penguins, little black and white spots waddling about in the snow. I also love how you describe all the noises made by all the newly-hatched penguins. It makes me excited for a new one to join the group.<3
You even personify the little penguin that is trynig to hatch! I love the voice that you give all your characters, animals and nature alike. I love how the father watches her, caring for her, and then the little kiss that comes as she hatches :)

What a lovely way to round out this collection. Again, the feeling of summer or maybe spring in this one. Just the boundless possibilities of childhood and the endlessness of friends when you're that age. You will get that freaking cloud bunny! It's gonna happen someday!
The zigzags after the dragonfly who finally lands in the grass - another tiny kiss as he nestles into the differnt blades. :D This was such a wonderful and warm collection and such a unique take on the challenge prompt and the different way you worked in the letters.
And honestly just that you managed to make all the letters work and that you saw this through for twenty six drabbles - and they were each so special. Be very proud of this project. It's really really great!

They walk with all the grace of a downward-spiraling snowflake. That sentence is so remarkable. :chefs kiss: it's perfect. and it's accurate as hell. Also the fact that they don't like beds designed for them XD my cat never uses the cat beds I've gone through but you're right - one hundred percent takes up space in my bed all the fucking time. And the contrast between how they hold themselves and how they are poor diplomats XD This has be cackling XD I am a cat person if you can't tell.
And they do. They know when you're down and they lick lick with that horrible sandpaper tongue and try to make you feel better. My cat has a habit of a lick, lick, nibble. Just to be sure you're not food. Just to assert dominance. Just a love nibble to say I see you. I taste you. I love you. XD

I'm in love with this collection and all of these tiny kisses. XOXO what a fun way to tie in that letter and it makes so much sense! And then you've gone even further because this isn't just some straight-forward love letter signed XOXO it's almost a scathing review of one of the lovers.
The word choice in this is spot on and really evokes this sort of dry or maybe even wry playfulness between these two. Honestly with how your write and the other collections I can't tell if this is two people using thorns and thistle as a cute way to talk about their personalities or if you've personified thorns and thistles XD and I don't care because either way it's so effective and so charming and I just <3

These ending lines just hit me sometimes and this one. It freaking hit me. Something so mystical about the idea that it never splashes or clanks or makes a sound - because it's been accepted. And I love that you call the rocks dull and then pearly as if the moonlight is what brings them alive and calls them to something more and brighter. This enchanting nightscape at the wishing well.
And the way you describe the boy too messy and muddy with holes patched up in his clothes. Someone in need of a wish. Someone who's probably been up to mischief. Kisses the coin that's been STUCK IN THE ROCKS i'll overlook how unsanitary that is because he is a little boy afterall XD

I am not okay with the idea of bats just casually strolling into tents and giving nippys and then flitting away all casual like - NOT OKAY! I know I said I liked all the animals in this collection and it's not really fair of me to be all like except the scary freaking bats cause I'm sure they're lovely and get a bad rap - but THEY LITERALLY DRINK BLOOD SO NO!
I do love that this starts with just a simple fact that is not up for debate. They are vampires. Obviously. XD And they fall in love with a human - SO THEN THEY BITE THEM?!?! NOOOOO! Am I just upset because one time I had to help a bat escape from my dorm room when it got stuck? Maybe. Am I overreacting. Probably. Am I standing by it anyways. Damn straight.

I love when you write about these little moments of things brushing past one another. I think some of those are my favorite of the collection. Just these quick pecks between objects as we rush through our days, never noticing or taking the time to see how much of us touches other peoples lives - I don't know it just has me feeling all types of ways.
Also, it literally started raining outside my window as I read this and so I had to go sit on my porch to write this review and it's so nice out here. The tap tap tap on the overhang of my porch. The smell of rain is just one of the best there is in my opinion. Something so serene when it's just a lazy drizzle.

The way you describe this migrain as a rain that just follows her and a poltergeist is just :chefs kiss: it's wonderful. This motherly love and childlike joy is just the best sort of warmth. That kiss to her temple - to where the headache is probably pounding - it doesn't actually help at all but she tells herself it does because she has so much love for her little one.
I love the way you write these parent/child relationships. They're so intimate and cuddly and just the best. The affection is downright adorable every time. I can't get enough of how well you describe a headache just to then be hit in the heart with how much that hug meant to the mom and <3

OHHHHH this one is immensely interesting! Another quiet, soft moment but with a not so warm ending XD Still, it's very well done and I can't fault the boy for trying. It's not only the Siren's song you have to look out for my man! Serves him right too for hoping to trap her and use her voice to harm others.
This drabble feels stiffer than the others, yet it still flows through the narration like a steady current. I think that's a combination of the unknown and the anticipation of what is she going to do? What is he going to do? She approaches with her mouth still underwater so he thinks she's harmless and then - very well done :D

A celebration of flavors is such a fun way to describe a pie or excuse me, a crumble. A crumble is better than a pie now that I think about it. I love the crumbly bits. And to have it with ice cream is indeed the superior of the options. But what's the best is friendship <3 And this is an adorable little look at one. The back hug :heart eyes: and gentle kiss on the top of the head <3 It's all so warm and fuzzy and happy and feels like summer! I love it and now I want something sweet XD

Again with the freaking adorablness :D I love this twist on a classic fairtale it's so charming. The way he's so nervous of a woman and kissing her after having defeated A DRAGON XD And the way he describes her parents as dashin father and intimidating mother is sending me XD I feel like I have the full measure of this young knight even with just this paragraph.
We stan a consentual moment and this was so fun and cute and I love that it just ends with a -mmph. XD That it's called Quest because that's what he was sent on to rescue the princess! And that he knows she can hear him and all it really took was being like - hey...maybe...I don't know you wanna maybe kiss me? And she was awake and saved :D

This is another one that has a slightly comical but also dry voice. Because, that's a funny scenario, right, objectively. But also totally true. If an octopus latches on, you're probably not getting out very easily lol
I love how you go through the evolution of the fascination and then irritation of having an octopus latched to you. Because it doesn't really have anything better to do, and you're more interesting that whatever's on the bottom of the occean, anyway
I love this scene that you paint again. It would be so cool to be with an octopus in the ocean, just being kissed by a sea creature <3 I think I would get tired of it, but also, that's so amazing. and just octopus in general are amazing, and an animal that I love to see you charcterize

Noses DO get in the way of kisses (and glasses, but that's a whole other thing). I love how Cyrano de Bergerac is a type of nose. Your little comicaal inserts are always done so perfectly.
AW I love how you turned that on me! I do love nose kisses, they are the perfect form of a tiny kiss. I love how you describe the type of smile they create. I can feel that happiness that I get from nose kisses bubbling up just by reading your descriptions.
And I love that bit at the end, just stating a fact. We are going to start doing nose kisses! Some of the voices of these are so funny and dry and I just love the variety you use

I love how many animals are in this collection :D They are always just fuzzy and squishy and soft and delicate and adorable and ahhhhh I love penguins <3 The idea of this wittle guy trying to get out of his shell. Trying to leave home for the first time in his young life (read: ever) to finally get to his dad and get this little proud peck. I AM WEAK at how cute these drabbles are.
It's funny really cause at the start of this event race I was reading stuff that had me hyped and ready to just fight and tear apart the evil in the world and then I went to reading these and now all I want to do is snuggle my cat and sit in a cozy cottage with a fire burning while I watch the sunset and then watch animal documentaries XD

Aw, this little image of the tiny baby mittens is so cute. My heart is so happy :) you need those mittens, baby!!
I love how you capture the voice of even a baby, which no one can really do, because we don't actually remember being that small lol. But I love the way you describe her as analyzing the mittens, as there's nothing else to do. and her curiosity of wanting to eat them just to see what happens sounds exactly like a baby
AWWW this is really the cutest thing. that she just loves her father coming to see her, no matter what it really means, reacting happily. i love this little baby, and these little mittens. another great unique perspective you've given us.

I literally haven't read passed you are theirs because I am already obssessed with this concept. The octopus has claimed you. I. LOVE. THIS. Okay I'll read the rest and see if it stays adorable or gets dramatic XD
Okay. Why I thought it might get dramatic when all of these are literally the fluffiest happiest cutest drabbles I've ever read XD I love this little octopus and the scuba diver I've imagined they found :D And I love when you say the colors the world above doesn't know - ahhhh the ocean is just so vast and epic and scary if I think about it too long but here it's full of fun little kisses!!!!
Also the way you write about the wave sand the ocean tugging you in all directions - I could feel the movement of it. :chefs kiss:

Ahhh another awkward, first-time encounter <3 All of these just make my heart sing.
The way you describe these two kissing is so sweet, that they can't even keep their smiles in. And they can't even get a moment alone! isn't that always how it is with a roommate. This is another example of how you bring us back to different environments that feel so real with such ease
I love that the awkwardness if part of the perfection, as well. That's truly what some first kisses are like! mine was maybe not that cute, but I can see this happening for others just the same. i love the hesitance and uncertainty that comes with kissing for the first time or just even kissing a new person

Nose bumps should never have even been in. Nose kisses are clearly superior and need to assert their dominance on the global stage. I (yet again) love this drabble. Noses do get in the way and sometimes they are just a random part of a face ya know? But that doesn't mean they shouldn't be loved and cared for like all the rest? Why do eyelids get butterfly kisses but noses just have to move out of the way? NO MORE!
I do love that this drabble had me thinking of all the awkward kisses and reasons and mishaps and accidental nose bumps along the way XD You can always count on them to ruin a good moment - well that and as we learned earlier teeth clashing or roommates pouring in XD

How can a drabble be so adorable?! I want to just pich it's cheeks! Except I know the earlier toddler did not like that so I will refrain. XD So freaking cute though. Seriously I can't say it enough how EMOTIVE these are. There's so much just feeling not only in them but through them. Like I feel warm and fuzzy reading these. Like a giddy kid just grinning ear to ear becuase they are so playful and cute and LOVE.
And that they put them in their mouth in case they're supposed to eat them XD The childlike wonder you capture in this. The just purity and innocence and glee. :chefs kiss: truley wonderful.

And you are quite like the cellist, who also likes presonifying small things :)) I love how all three of them have different questions, proving that they'll all bring something different to the collective. Also the assertion that it's the most brilliant, earth-shattering idea is just too funny
Haha I love that little kiss at the end! And the idea for the classical group's name. It really is kind of catchy and funny at the same time. I hope the other two agree :)

I love that you're able to just narrow a whole novel down to these few hundred words. Each one of these kisses is so vivid in my mind. I can see it clear as day playing out like a movie scene before me. There's seriously so much packed into these drabbles and I am endlessly impressed the more of them I read.
And each of these moments is utterly perfect. Not proper kissing form XD The idea that they split apart as if a spider had dropped between them - and the added detail that the roommate leaves so quickly XD I laughed out loud reading this I really did. And then the final kiss actually happens and it's clumsy and perfect and has me grinning from ear to fucking ear.

I love all the different places you're taking me in this series. From the forest to the tea shop, they are all so distinct and recognizable because of your descriptions. You really do well with describing the sights, sounds, smells, and feels of a place <3
And this looks like a first date! something public, friendly, bright, a little awkward <3 makes my heart melt. The way they stumble over each other and are so polite, ugh, the beginning stages <3 And then they share the straw, an inadvertent kiss, but maybe not so accidental.
You're so creative with all the different ways of incorporating a "tiny kiss", you picked such a great topic that really pushed you to think of different options.

Another adorable take on a tiny kiss. Kumqat. What a great pull from obscurity. I love that you keep taking these little known things and bringing a big spotlight onto them. That she draws faces on them XD The way you call yourself out in this is brilliant too. She loves to personify inanimate objects. Sounds familiar XD
And you both do it so wonderfully I have no complaints. It's a strange name choice, but I back it 1000%. I love how taken back the other players are at the cellist too. I get the imperssion she's the rambuctious one of the trio XD and the way they 'kiss' in her palm. Wonderful details.

I love that I can tell that you are talking about a sunset in that first sentece without you having to say it. Seriously, I could use a description class from you, it's amazing. And now you're personifying the SKY!! Youthful self-consciousness?? I'm throwing my laptop away, you win. This is such an amazing start to the chapter
The way that the sun closes the chapter on the day and the night comes to take watch over the Earth is so beautiful and comforting. I literally can't compliment your writing enough. And the clothing of the sky is a big skirt, like a big blanket that holds the Earth as it sleeps. You're a genius with environments <3

This was the most adorable little scene :heart eyes: oh my gosh the way they both start to talk and then are like no you go XD that has me so in my feels right now. It's so cute. And again so subtle. All of these quiet moments are just perfection. I love the setting of a bubble tea shop. I love the idea that they indirectly kiss because they've both used the straw. It's the sort of detail that you focus on as a teenager and get so caught up in. Every moment being analyzed and overthought.
On an unrelated note I don't like bubble tea. I feel like I'm just chilling, enjoying my beverage and then BAM! Suddenly there's this solid food stuff in my mouth and I don't know what to do with it XD
