Current favorite line: No one does hit him because that would be stupid. Lol! I love how intelligent and observant you've got Sirius in this. It is perfect. BUT GENTLY SO IT DOESN'T HURT!!! Omg Emma you're killing me. If you watch Ouran HS Host Club, this reminds me SOOO MUCH of Mori and Honey.

I've just gotten to the bit where they set their notes on fire, and as a mother of boys, this is exactly what would happen.

New favorite line: Remus Lupin is not a monster...but he may be a werewolf.

I love how the monster part is absolute. It is the irrefutable base on which all other facts lie. Werewolf does not change the boy, the boy changes werewolf. That is how good Remus is at twelve years old. Beautiful.

Peter's logic is flawless. You've had two years to kill us. Why start now?

"And decides to never think about it." Oh honey. Oh you poor poor honey. It's hard when trauma starts to come out.

Ok Proper review time instead of just having a squee at all the fun. As mentioned above, the characterization of each marauder is spot on. You've managed to fit a lot of them here, even Peter, which I don't get see a lot of in fics. He is always in the background, and while he didn't have a prominent roll, he certainly had more personality than I have seen him with before.

I love a good Wolfstar, but I like how for twelve year olds, you've got just enough familiarity and commraderie that it could blossom into romance later, but isn't to that point, as is appropriate for this age. I guess it is a strong friendship rooted in love, whether that remains plutonic or not. Sirius is thoughtful and deep and caring. He is driven by a desire to help that I can defnititely see leading him to escapte Azkaban to help Harry for. His avoidance of tough topics is textbook childhood trauma/PTSD behavior.

On the other hand, James absolutely trusts his mother's opinion and it isn't until there is overwhelming evidence to the contrary that he is willing to contradict her. Of course you know all this, I am just gushing.

Remus of course is the precious heart of this piece. Learning to trust is very hard. He has endured his own kind of childhood trauma, and it is good to see Sirius showing him how to establish  meaningful connections with others. I think the hardest part would be ignoring that voice of his father telling him he can't trust anyone. The absolute truth that he hears in "werewolves kill people" just screams that this is something that has been repeated to him ever sense the accident. You are going to kill people. Werewolves are monsteres, and you are going to kill people in their sleep. Ugh. Terrible.

Anyways. We all know that it is a happy-ish ending.

Also, go foxes <3

Hey, Emma, my love! <3

You know me, I had to stop by here! Been meaning to since I saw you post about this on Twitter! A story about little Marauders discovering Remus' secret? My jam! :D

And, wow! This was absolutely great! So, so, so adorable! Sirius' voice throughout is amazing, you made me chuckle a lot in a lot of passages (I would quote, but there are too many) and tear up in a few others, but mostly it was just lovely to see the loyalty of these wonderful friends! That bit when Sirius hugged Remus when he told them he was ill (after making sure he wasn't contagious, of course :P) and then when Sirius revealed his discover to James and Peter and he feels so bad thinking how lonely Remus must be... too cute!

Btw, I love that Sirius got the idea from the comic, that was such a genius thing! And, oh my, the bit about silver being a cure for spavinalgia... that could've ended soooo bad! I was so worried about that bit... :O

Remus' reaction when they told him was so sad... poor child... I can't believe he really thought that he would be expelled only because his friends found out! :( Also, I can't believe Sirius was truly convinced that making Unbreakable Vows was a regular practice everywhere... He's not sure what that says about his family, and decides to never think about it. Yeah, indeed...

I could probably go on forever about how great this was, but just know that I really, really loved it, okay? <3

I will check out the Regulus story you wrote with Kayla too, at some point. I'll leave for now! ;)

Snowball hug, my love! <3
